Not Just Functional: The Evolution of Kitchens
Kitchens were once regarded as purely “functional” rooms relegated to the rear of the house. The last decade has seen the kitchen become more central in the role it plays in our lives and homes. We consider the kitchen to be at the heart of the home and our new houses are purposely designed with this in mind.
For example, the kitchens at our latest development on Midland Road in Bramhall adopt an open-plan design, which is multi-purpose. The larger open-plan design with bi-fold doors to the garden area facilitates modern living so that the kitchen space can be used for cooking, dining, lounging and entertaining.
As a consequence of this shift in the role of the kitchen in the modern home, we focus on creating light and bright kitchens with contrasting worktops and tiles. We install quality products and appliances to create a functional space that can be enjoyed by all the family.
